Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg set deal with Lionsgate TV

Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg have signed an initial three-year deal for unregistered projects with Lionsgate Television.

The deal will see the couple produce and develop non-written and non-fiction projects, documentaries, short productions and non-fiction podcasts through their newly formed company, Work Baby Productions. Pilgrim Media Lionsgate will provide development support and production services entity for the projects sold under the terms of the transaction.

“Our focus as a married couple and partners is to highlight the projects we are passionate about,” said Wahlberg and McCarthy Wahlberg. “Our new partners at Pilgrim and Lionsgate share this passion, and we are very excited to be working with them to make these dreams come true.”

McCarthy Wahlberg is currently a judge on the popular Fox competition series “The Masked Singer”. She previously hosted the talk show “The Jenny McCarthy Show” as well as a radio show and worked as a co-anchor on “The View”. As an actress, she is best known for appearing in the ‘Scream’ franchise as well as in films like ‘John Tucker Must Die’.

Wahlberg is currently starring in the CBS series “Blue Bloods” and has roles in films such as the “Saw” franchise, “The Sixth Sense,” “Ransom,” “Dreamcatcher,” and the HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers.” He first broke out as a member of the boy band “The New Kids on the Block”.

“Donnie and Jenny are a perfect fit for Lionsgate and our commitment to creating groundbreaking unrecorded television,” said Lionsgate Nonfiction Television and Pilgrim President and CEO Craig Piligian. “We know they will be excellent partners, and we look forward to helping them build a highly diverse and successful roster of programmes.”

Pilgrim’s in-house attorney David Harris negotiated the Lionsgate and Pilgrim deal. McCarthy Walberg is represented by WME, Brecheen, Feldman, Breimer, and Silver & Tho. Wahlberg is represented by WME, RAIN and Gochman Law.
