Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, the daughter of rapper Nick Cannon and model Lanisha Cole, was born on September 14, 2022. Cannon had eight children from prior partnerships, thus this is his ninth kid. Cannon took to Instagram and uploaded a black-and-white picture of himself, Cole, and the baby with the caption:
“I am once again in awe of the Divine Feminine!” God has granted me and @MissLanishaCole the honor of hosting an Angel on Earth. I promise to do all in my power to protect, care for, guide, and love this kid.”
Set to Chris Brown’s “I Do,” the article went on to say:
“These angels we call children to teach us so much.” I’m realizing that the problem isn’t the limited amount of time we have in this world, but the limited quantity of love. And I swear to adore this little baby with all my heart, no matter what…”
Many Twitter users made humorous memes regarding Nick Cannon’s nine children shortly after the tweet.
While Nick Cannon has never disclosed the true reason for his continued childbearing, the rapper has previously said that he would want to have 10 to 12 children. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Nick explained the true reason behind his decision:
“The wonders of parenting, guy.”
Nick Cannon’s wish to have more children has sparked outrage on Twitter.
Because Nick Cannon has 9 children from previous relationships, social media fans admire him while making jokes about his desire to have more children. In an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles, Nick said that he was “having these babies on purpose.” The rapper mentioned:
“I have no accident.” There are a number of individuals with whom I could have gotten pregnant but did not. The ones who became pregnant were the ones who were meant to get pregnant.”

During an interview with The Breakfast Club, Nick described his partners as follows:
“Those women, and all women, are the ones that open up and say, ‘I would want to welcome this guy into my world, and I will bear this kid.’” So it’s not my choice; I’m just following suit.”
We know all there is to know about Nick Cannon and his baby moms.
Nick Cannon is the father of nine children, two of which are the offspring of Grammy-winning singer Mariah Carey. On April 30, 2011, Cannon and Carey welcomed twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott. Regarding the twins, Cannon told US Weekly:
“Like me, my kid is relaxed back.” My kid, like her mother, is a diva. When my kid wants anything, she will tell you right away. You sort of feed [our kid] when you get around to it, and he’s OK with that.”
Cannon also said in an interview with E! News that he does not want his children to be in show business. He stated:
“I don’t want them to be in the industry, but I realize that people have fallen in love with them and [they have] followers and all that.”
Monroe, on the other hand, made her modeling debut for the children’s apparel firm OshKosh B’gosh in 2021. Cannon had posted a video of her modeling on his Instagram account with the comment ‘proup poppa!’ Cannon announced the birth of his third kid, Golden “Sagon” Cannon, with Miss Arizona USA Brittany Bell in February 2017.
