Stan Lee's Justice League Makes Surprise Return To DC Universe

In celebration of the late Stan Lee’s 100th birthday, DC Comics is bringing back his Justice League team as the Just Imagine universe will return in a new oversized one-shot. Tales from Earth-6: A Celebration of Stan Lee by DC Comics features the return of Lee’s version of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more, as a group of talented creators will tackle the legendary comic writer’s versions of the Justice League in the all-new stories.

In the early 2000s, Stan Lee penned a limited series for DC Comics, called Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe, as he teamed up with writers to reinvent some of the most popular heroes in the DC Universe. The Justice League heroes featured considerably different origins and backstories, as he created all-new characters, such as Batman, a man named Wayne Williams who was a former professional wrestler turned vigilante, and a female version of The Flash, who gained her powers from a hummingbird’s DNA.
