Google Chrome has just fixed a serious zero-day flaw – update your browser now

Chrome users should make sure they’re running the latest version of Google’s browser, as the search giant has released an emergency security update that addresses a file Zero day defect that are currently exploited in the wild.

As I mentioned Computer (Opens in a new tab)the high-risk vulnerability (tracked as CVE-2022-3723) is in the V8 Javascript engine that runs Chrome and was first discovered by a security researcher in Avast. Ironically, Google had just finished rolling out a number of security fixes for its browser when it received a vulnerability report from the cybersecurity company that same day.
