The second season premiere of The White Lotus drew 1.5 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max after its one-episode premiere on Sunday, according to Warner Bros. Discovery. This number includes those who watched the episode while it aired on the HBO satellite channel, as well as aired on HBO Max overnight.
Created by Mike White, “The White Lotus” premiered as a limited series in 2021 before being renewed for a second season and moved to an anthology. The first season was a huge success, and his popularity through word of mouth increased from week to week. It went on to tie “Ted Lasso” as the second most nominated show for the 2022 Emmys and won in the Limited Series as well as Limited Series Supporting Actors categories (Jennifer Coolidge and Murray Bartlett).
Besides White, the second season was produced by White, David Bernad, and Mark Kamine. Coolidge reprises her role in Season 1, as did John Grace. They are joined by new cast members F Murray Abraham, Adam DeMarco, Beatrice Granny, Megan Fahey, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Embaciator, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Halle Lou Richardson, Will Sharp, Simona Tabasco and Leo Woodall.
