The best memes, viral tweets from college football fans

TCU made Oklahoma a laughingstock in college football as fans, media, and official accounts alike trolled the Sooners for their amazing performance.

Oklahoma had already come out of a modest loss to Kansas State. Many of their fans thought it couldn’t be much worse than this performance.

The TCU dumped the Sooners in the dust on Saturday, turning them 55-24 while scoring 27 points in the first quarter alone.

The outing was Skip Bayless dumping coach Brent Venables and Oklahoma fans considering their prospects for the rest of the season.

As for the rest of the college football world? There was laughter. Lots of it. Thanks in part to UCLA’s social media approach, which was just a smash send.

Here’s how the rest of Twitter responded to the hit:

Who had more fun watching that game? TCU fans, Texas fans or USC fans?

It’s tough because it felt like every fan base had a good time watching The Horned Frogs Silence the Sooners.

The TCU quarterback finished with five total touchdowns. He threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns while he added 116 yards and two touchdowns. The Frogs had four touchdowns for over 60 yards.

It was an attack for which Oklahoma had no answer.

Unfortunately, the game was not entirely fun. Midfielder Dillon Gabriel quickly left the match after receiving a late blow to the head while slipping. In the second half, defensive back Damon Harmon was apparently seriously injured during his tackle. He had to be taken off the field on a stretcher after a long evaluation. Fortunately, OU confirmed that he had movement in his limbs as he was taken to a local hospital.
