Times 90 Day Fiancé Fans Spotted Shocking Editing Fails On The Show

Viewers are quick to spot visual continuity errors, audio editing fails, and episodic plot holes across different 90 Day Fiancé spin-off shows. Over the last few years, TLC has been accused of altering its reality TV shows to convey a specific narrative and give villainous edits to certain cast members. In 2021, the 90 Day: The Single Life cast member Molly Hopkins opened up about the filming process. The 47-year-old Georgia native revealed that while TLC showcased her carefree personality well, they made her appear desperate for a relationship.

Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member Michael Jessen has also claimed that the editing process of 90 Day Fiancé is usually misleading. A few years ago, the Connecticut native accused the show makers of the dishonest portrayal of his life. Michael said his time on 90 Day Fiancé doesn’t reflect his reality. He accused TLC of making a mockery out of his life for entertainment, and he had to live with the consequences of being on the show. The popular 90 Day Fiancé alum claimed that TLC and Sharp Entertainment shaped the narrative and altered the show’s real events.

However, 90 Day Fiancé viewers understand there is a big difference between reality TV and their real life. They even spot errors and editing mistakes to make fun of the show on social media. In 2021, many 90 Day Fiancé fans spotted an editing mishap that showed Jovi Dufren, who 90 Day fans called out, already wearing his wedding ring ahead of his wedding to Yara Zaya. Fans took to Reddit and discussed how funny it was to see Jovi discuss problems concerning his upcoming wedding when it had already happened. A Redditor keepitupper wrote, “I guess no one bothered to tell Jovi that he left his wedding ring on in this scene.”

In July 2022, many 90 Day Fiancé fans noticed inaccurate editing in the latest season of Love in Paradise: The Caribbean. During the episode where Daniel Salazar surprised Amber Graney about his green card situation, viewers spotted a huge editing fail that showed inconsistency in the Florida native’s outfit. Redditor user abanay02 talked about how the color of Amber’s nail paint changed in different scenes. Other fans then realized that Love in Paradise‘s Amber was also wearing a necklace that magically appeared on her neck in the second half of the shot.

In 2021, fans noticed another editing mishap; however, it was a minor one. In 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva played with their new pet rat and argued with each other. Interestingly, the editing team forgot to blur something in the background, which made viewers curious. As it turns out, a Confederate flag decorative piece briefly appeared in the scene as the editors forgot to blur it. The small detail gave fans more reason to dislike Mike, who was already the villain of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show.
