What Is iCloud?
As MobileMe’s replacement, iCloud was introduced by Apple Inc. on October 12, 2011. From 782 million users in 2016 to an expected 850 million users in 2018, the service has seen growth. In order to collaborate on papers, backup an iPhone or iPad, and find misplaced Apple devices, users can sync their data, such as mail, contacts, calendars, photographs, notes, and files, to the cloud using iCloud. It is a feature of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, and a more constrained version of it is available for download on Windows. In less than a week following its release, iCloud had 20 million users. Early on, it was criticised for having issues, particularly with Core Data synchronising. Both OS X Mavericks and iOS 7 fix these problems.

How iCloud Photos Works?
Every photo and video you capture is automatically stored in iCloud by iCloud Photos, allowing you to view your library from any device at any time. Any modifications you make to your collection on one machine also affect the rest of your devices. Years, Months, Days, and All Photographs categories are used to organise your photos and videos. Additionally, all of your Memories and Contacts have been updated. In this manner, you can quickly locate the occasion, relative, or acquaintance you’re seeking for. Your photographs and videos are kept in iCloud in their full resolution, original forms. This includes the special formats you take with your iPhone or iPad, including slow-motion, time-lapse, 4K films, and Live Photos, as well as HEIF, JPEG, RAW, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and MP4. In addition, these gadgets allow you to take pictures and films in the HEIF and HEVC formats. The time it takes to see your photographs and movies on your devices and iCloud.com may vary depending on your internet speed.
