Sydney Samuelson Grandchildren: Charlotte Samuelson, Kate Samuelson

Sir Sydney H. Wylie Samuelson is a British director and cinematographer. He was born in Paddington, London, to Marjorie Emma Elizabeth Vint and cinema pioneer George Berthold Samuelson.

He attended Irene Avenue Council School in Lancing, West Sussex, for his coaching. The UK authorities nominated Sydney as a result of the preliminary British Film Commissioner in 1991. At the Luxor theater in Lancing, West Sussex, he began his occupation as a rewind boy.

He obtained a spot as a trainee film editor with Gaumont British, which was then positioned at Lime Grove in London, after working as a help operator for the ABC circuit at loads of theaters inside the Midlands.

He served inside the Royal Air Force sooner than being employed by the Colonial Film Unit as a trainee cameraman. In order to lend out film instruments, he established Samuelson Film Service in 1954. Later, he held the first British Film Commissioner job for six years. He was chosen to steer the BAFTA Management board in 1976 and is a perpetual trustee.

Sydney Samuelson has two grandchildren. Charlotte Samuelson and Kate Samuelson are the kids of Marc and Deborah Samuelson. The kids are moreover Peter and Jonathan Samuelson’s nieces. It’s pretty disappointing that not so much is known about them.
