Who Owns Invicta Watch Company?

Invicta is an American watch designer and producer that’s headquartered in Hollywood, Florida, United States. It began as a Swiss watch agency based mostly by Raphael Picard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in 1837.

In the early Nineteen Eighties, the company went bankrupt and was purchased three years later to Ondix S.A, which continued producing Invicta watches in Switzerland.

Ondix S.A. folded due to disappointing product sales, and Invicta was re-established in 1991 when it was acquired by American homeowners. In April 2016, Invicta acquired the Swiss watch producer Glycine, with Invicta’s CEO promising to respect Glycine’s independence as a result of it financially helps the Swiss watchmaker.

The agency produces a number of of its lineup in Switzerland, and other people fashions are signed “Swiss Made” on the watch face and specified throughout the website description for the fashions.

In November 2012, the Invicta watch agency launched a line of watches endorsed and designed by Jason Taylor, a hall of Fame NFL participant.

Invicta launched a partnership with Authentic Brands Group (ABG) for Shaquille O’Neal in February 2020.
