Firefighters said 2 rescues, and 1 hospitalized after a house fire on ANTA Street in North Houston

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Houston firefighters have rescued two people from a house fire near Eastex Highway. One of those people was taken to a nearby emergency room, according to a tweet from the department.

The home fire occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. at the 4500 block on Antha Street in North Houston.

Authorities ask drivers to avoid this area.
