My Hero Academia Season 6 may be finished with the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, but the troubles plaguing the young heroes at UA Academy are just beginning. With Shigaraki using his newfound strength and a horde of High-End Nomu to break All For One and several criminals out of prison, an antagonist revolving around Deku specifically has some serious problems in the near future anime adaptation. Now, My Hero Academia’s English title has confirmed that they’ve found Lady Nagant.
Without diving too deep into spoiler territory, Nagant has an exceptionally interesting background in the Hero Society, particularly with regard to its ties to the Committee of Public Safety. PSC may be best known as of late thanks to flashbacks featuring second hero Hawks, where the committee got the chance to add the winged young prodigy to its ranks after Hawks’ traumatic childhood. While the Public Safety Authority is responsible for creating a number of heroes and giving them more than enough training to make them menace any number of villains, Season 6 is about to reveal some of the lengths the organization will go to in order to maintain its presence. The hero community is intact.

Despite winning the War Arc, the Heroes haven’t been well off in the last few episodes, many of them continuing to recuperate in the hospital as the villains rampage, and Hero Society barely managing to keep itself from falling into chaos. When Deku finally encounters Lady Nagant, the young hero will be in a completely different place than we’ve seen in previous installments of the Shonen franchise, to the point where many anime viewers may not recognize him.
