Network says TJ Holmes and Amy Robach will not be returning to ‘GMA’ after reports of romance




An ABC News spokesperson confirmed Friday that TJ Holmes and Amy Robach will not be returning to their positions as co-hosts for the third hour of “Good Morning America.”

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that it was best for everyone to move on from ABC News,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “We appreciate their talent and commitment over the years and thank their contributions.”

In the last month, the co-subordinates I took off from the air After reports of a possible romantic relationship. At the time, ABC News said the relationship between the two did not violate company policy and planned to work through “what’s best for the organization.”

Although ABC News correspondents Geo Benitez and Stephanie Ramos have filled in for Holmes and Robach in the past, the company has not announced who will replace them.
