Six dead after tour bus crashed head-on with freight truck in upstate New York

Six individuals were killed in upstate New York Saturday after a cargo truck and a visit transport crashed in what authorities called a “grisly” misfortune.

Upwards of 15 individuals were on the transport when it impacted head-on with the truck around 6:00 a.m. on Public Parkway 37 in Louisville, a humble community on the US-Canada line, State Police said.

The driver of the case truck was the only one in the vehicle. Three others were injured and hurried to the clinic, remembering one for basic condition.

Police didn’t say which vehicle crushed into the other and didn’t deliver the personalities of the people in question.

Authorities depicted the accident site as “grisly,” Television slot WWNY detailed. The thruway was closed down to traffic for 12 hours Saturday.

The reason for the accident is still being scrutinized, however photographs of the scene showed banks of foot-high snow on the parkway.

WWNY said there could have been diminished perceivability at the hour of the mishap.
