The Sims 4 teases “exciting news” of a new appearance behind The Sims Show this Tuesday

The Sims 4 has announced that a new “Behind The Sims” trailer is set to debut on January 31st. The new event will be the successor to the first livestream of Behind The Sims that took place in October 2022. And as the first livestreamed Sims game of 2023, it will land on The Sims’ official YouTube and Twitch channels this Tuesday at 9am PT.
the formal function The Sims Community website doesn’t share any details on what to expect from the new live stream, but teases “exciting news.” The former showcased new features and updates for The Sims 4, and provided a glimpse into the “next generation of The Sims”. We hope the new event will also provide more details on the development of The Sims 5, or Project Rene, as the post says they will “share exciting news, take you behind the scenes and more.”
Earlier this month, The Sims Team shared a teaser video showing the roadmap for The Sims 4 in 2023. The short video also teased the highly anticipated infant update along with two new sets and an upcoming expansion. Whether or not more details about the highly anticipated infant update will be shared next week remains to be seen.
The Sims 4 has been expanding its footprint in the gaming scene since it launched for free in October 2022 across multiple platforms. The game has run over 1.4 billion hours, and it’s getting a “High School Years” expansion in July, too. With the new expansion pack underway, there is no doubt that there will be more activities for The Sims 4 players in the future.
Most recently, the game received the Simtimates Collection Kit, which introduced a click-and-drag character creation option that adds a whole new layer to the game. With the new collection, The Sims 4 has fulfilled the lackluster costume department and implemented a more dynamic appearance customization system.
While the current state of The Sims 4 says good things about the title’s future, players are still waiting to hear more news from The Sims 5, which began its play-testing phase a few months ago. There aren’t many details about the new game except for a series of leaked images that show the interiors of the apartments. Those who want to hear more from the new main entry to The Sims series should save the January 31st Behind The Sims livestream.
