Authorities are looking for two people who were seen using a paintball gun to hit a security camera

Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities want to find the vandals caught on video using a paintball gun to take out a surveillance camera used to monitor illegal waste in a remote area of ​​northwest Harris County.

This happened on Dec. 8 at the 7200 complex in Fairbanks-N-Houston, but officials released the information on Tuesday.

On-site cameras are used to monitor illegal dumping.

Although one of the cameras was damaged, officials managed to recover evidence showing the suspects shooting the camera with a paintball gun, rendering it inoperable.

It is unknown if the vandals were juveniles or young adults, but the footage shows their faces.

Investigators are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the two suspects.

Both individuals will face criminal misconduct charges.
