90 Day Fiancé star Tiffany Franco recently revealed on Instagram that she briefly got back with her ex Ronald Smith in an effort to simply make his current girlfriend jealous. Tiffany and Ronald first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1, when Tiffany moved to South Africa to marry Ronald and live there with him. The couple later returned for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, when Tiffany began to slowly lose faith in her marriage with Ronald. Tiffany later returned solo for 90 Day: The Single Life season 3, where she explored several connections before ultimately returning to Ronald. However, the couple announced their split at the Tell-All.
90 Day Fiancé’s Tiffany Franco admitted in a recent Instagram video that she only got back with Ronald to make his new girlfriend jealous. Tiffany posted a video where she looked like she was cringing at herself and wrote, “That one time I took my ex-husband back just to prove to his girlfriend that he liked me more.”
Tiffany added in the caption that she felt stupid looking back at what she did with Ronald, and even invited fans to roast her in the comments section. Tiffany’s fellow 90 Day Fiancé cast member and friend Tania Maduro commented “Staaaaaahhhhpppppp,” followed by several laughing emojis.
Tiffany revealed during The Single Life season 3 Tell-All that Ronald had cheated on her with his current girlfriend while she was still in South Africa. Ronald had been seeing his girlfriend before reconciling with Tiffany, but still proceeded to talk to her on the side after he got back together with Tiffany. However, it seems that Tiffany may have known about this to some degree, if she made a point to only go back to Ronald to prove to his girlfriend that he liked her more. Nonetheless, Ronald continued to entertain both women until Tiffany cut ties with him and filed for divorce.
Tiffany has received mixed criticism on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, as she may be to blame for her issues with Ronald, since she consistently went back to him after he gave her reasons not to. Tiffany can also seem immature, and many believe that her young son Daniel is more mature than she is. Her recent Instagram post does come off somewhat immature, as it seems more like something a teenager or young adult would say, as opposed to a 31-year-old woman. Tiffany has taken digs at Ronald on social media before, and while it may seem funny, it is not always appropriate.
While Tiffany may have gotten caught up in a sticky situation with Ronald and his current girlfriend while in South Africa, she has now moved on to a healthier relationship with Dan McFarland. Tiffany met Dan on The Single Life, although she put things on pause with him to go see Ronald in South Africa. Ronald also appears to be happy in his relationship with his girlfriend, so it is unlikely that either he or Tiffany will appear on a 90 Day Fiancé show or spin-off anytime soon. Tiffany and Ronald’s marriage was unhealthy, and hopefully the two will succeed in their new respective relationships.
