George Bush Intercontinental Airport subway connecting stations to be temporarily closed for a construction project

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Change is coming at George Bush Intercontinental Airport this week.

The Houston Airport System says the subways that connect all five terminals will be temporarily closed for an ongoing construction project.

The shutdown began shortly after midnight on Monday and should last up to seven days.

The air train still operates, and EcoPark buses will serve as shuttles between stations running on a continuous loop.
