James Gunn Calls Comic-Con from DC Studios to experience the best weekend of his life

As Chapter 1 takes shape from James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new vision for the DC Universe, it’s an example of his love for comics. The filmmaker and co-CEO of DC Studios revealed how his weekend at the local Comic-Con was the best weekend of his life. Jon and Safran hold a small press event where they reveal Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. Gunn has already had a successful career directing movies like Suicide Squad And Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3along with directing the second season of peace maker. So he always asked why he took up the challenge of co-leading DC Studios.
“People would often ask me, ‘Why did you take this job?’” Jean said during Monday’s press event. “I knew there were going to be a lot of obstacles, a lot of problems, but as many of you know, comic books are in my blood. These characters are in my blood. I was kind of a cranky kid who didn’t have a lot of friends really and I love books.” pictured. I love DC comic books and I love Marvel comic books. I didn’t interact well with my peers and my parents sent me to a psychiatrist when I was 11 to try to figure out what was wrong with me because I never went to school. I just stayed home, read picture books, and wrote and drew picture books. And the psychiatrist said to dad, “Why don’t you take care of what your son does?” Because my dad is very much in St. Louis, Missouri. He loves Cardinals baseball, he loves things I didn’t care about. And my father did. And the coolest thing my dad ever did was he started asking me about comics.”
Jan then talked about how spending the weekend at Chicago Comic-Con brought him closer to his father.
“He drove me for a weekend to Creation Comic-Con in Chicago, which was probably the greatest weekend of my life, so far I can say, because my wife isn’t here,” he said. “But he was amazing. We met Ernie Chan and talked to all these creators, and it was the best thing we’ve ever had. We bought a bunch of comic books. The happiest moment of my life is walking up the stairs and seeing my dad read a copy of Superman. And I wanted to take care of these characters. And we all know it was a road.” Bad for a lot of them over the last few years, and things just haven’t come together. And I really think it’s a challenge, but I think it’s possible to create something really cool with these characters. I can’t go into politics, and I can’t do anything with science. So the only thing I can To do for the planet is to create stories about love. And that’s what I think we can do for the next eight to 10 years.”
James Gunn does not have time for Peacemaker season two
Viola Davis returns as Amanda Waller in a new HBO Max series titled Waller. Peter Safran made the same remark at the press event for DCU Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters Slate Waller It is located between Seasons 1 and 2 of the peace maker With Gunn adding that he “has no time to do peace maker Season two now.”
Instead, fans can expect a lot from the supporting cast peace maker to appear in Waller.
“This will also include some of the Peacemaker cast as the regular members of the show,” Gunn said during the event. “This is basically a follow-up peace maker. We have two great creatives working on it: Crystal Henry, writer at watch manand Jeremy Carver, who created Doom PatrolHave this incredibly great story illustrated and I think it’s really cool and the love of HBO is that they’re putting all of this together.”
