Tim Sherwood has raved about Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on Sky Sports.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has said that Odegaard is one of the best players at Arsenal and has been superb for the Gunners this season.

The Sky Sports pundit made the remarks on the eve of the London derby between Arsenal and Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League
Tim Sherwood on Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard
Sherwood said about Odegaard, as transcribed by TBR: “He’s the one. I think he just gains control for his team. Knows when to pass, how to pass.
“Leader, hence why he’s wearing the armband. Everything good that Arsenal do comes through that boy.
“He’s been outstanding. There’s a reason he was at Real Madrid but he’s found a home now with a manager who loves him. And the players who admire his skill. He’s absolutely fantastic. Top drawer.”
HITC Verdict: Top class
In our view, Martin Odegaard is one of the best and most silkiest players in the Premier League and has been brilliant for Arsenal so far this season.
The 24-year-old has developed and progressed under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and is now fulfilling his potential that saw Real Madrid sign him back in 2015.
Odegaard failed to make an impact at Madrid, but he is growing in stature at Arsenal.
The playmaker has scored 10 goals and given six assists in 27 Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and could end up winning the title this season.
