Will there be a file Princess Diaries 3?
One potential project for Hathaway that fans have been dying to see is a follow up to it Princess Diaries, the beloved Disney franchise that starred actress Mia Thermopolis. “I’m going to have more fun than that, I’m trying to do it,” Hathaway revealed. “If there was any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we’d make it happen. We’d go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and do that.”
“I think it would be too late now to do that,” Andrews said. “There was talk of a sequel many years ago. But I don’t think it ever happened. Then Gary left us. [For] Especially for me, it’s too far now to go back to it. It’s a nice idea, but I don’t think it’s likely to be possible.”
“A sense of humor and an understanding of human nature,” Andrews said of her reason for joining the series. “I also think it was the idea of the story, of course, but he was so incredibly generous. When I first met him, and I never even got to meet him until the role was talked about, he asked some great questions, like, ‘Where do you think Genovia is famous for? Pears.’” Well, we had pears all over the set and lace outfits. He embraced what everyone cares about giving.”
