Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy genuinely likes Burnley manager Vincent Kompany, according to a report.
Sky Sports journalist Melissa Reddy has reported that among the managers that Tottenham are looking at as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte is former Manchester City central defender Kompany.
The 36-year-old is in charge of Burnley at the moment.
The Clarets are doing extremely well in the Championship now and are pretty much guaranteed of winning automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Reddy wrote on SkySports.com: “Among the other names Levy has admired for some time are Marco Silva, Roberto De Zerbi, Sergio Conceicao and Thomas Frank, while Vincent Kompany has emerged as a credible name following his impact in one season at Burnley.”
HITC Verdict: Unlikely to happen
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to appoint Vincent Kompany as their next manager.
Yes, Kompany is doing well at Burnley at the moment, and we all know how good of a player he was.
However, the Belgian is just starting his managerial career, and it would be a risk of Tottenham to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
After all, Spurs will want to finish in the Premier League top four again next season.
