Google Pixel Watch March 2023 update is available with fall detection and many other improvements

In addition to the March 2023 update for the Pixel 6 series, Google also released the Google Pixel Watch in March 2023. The update is set to roll out to all supported devices over the next week. The update includes bug fixes, access to new settings, fall detection, and more.
While there is a lot to be done, Fall Detection is perhaps the standout feature of this latest update. Fall detection was announced at the end of last month, and gave users the ability to contact emergency services if a fall was detected. This service will give users a great deal of control, such as the ability to opt out of calling emergency services when a fall occurs. Also, when the Pixel Watch is now turned off or is low on power and can’t turn on, users will be able to press the crown to see the time. This is a nice feature so you can at least see the time when necessary.
Moreover, the Crown gets some control features, allowing users to enable AOD as well as optimize screen brightness in ambient mode when interacting with it. In addition, users will also be able to quickly enable and disable battery saver mode in QSS. The company has also managed to improve the touch screen of the screen, which has improved sensitivity. Moreover, there will be accessibility settings for the visuals of the clock, along with audio through a mono option.
Google is aware of some issues with the Pixel Watch and its alarms, and has stated that an update for this issue will come in the next few weeks through a separate update that will be available through the Google Play Store. The company also shares that if you don’t want to miss out on this update, make sure that automatic updates are enabled in the Play Store settings on your Pixel Watch.
