Edwin Castro, the winner of the $2 billion California Powerball, has bought a $4 million California mansion after dropping $25.5 million on a lavish Hollywood Hills estate earlier this month.
The 30-year-old claimed the winning ticket last month and received a lump sum payment of $997.6 million.
Castro quickly purchased the sprawling bachelor pad, which was coined an “entertainer’s dream” as it included a game room, wine cellar, movie theater, bar, and a luxury fitness studio.
The California native recently amped up his real-estate portfolio once again, buying a $4 million mansion in his hometown of Altadena — just a short walk from the gas station where he bought his victorious Powerball payday.
Their new Japanese-inspired pad is shielded from the public eye by olive groves and has stunning unobstructed views of the San Gabriel Mountains, reported Dirt.com.
The outlet details the five-bedroom, four-bath home, built in 1953, as being modern with Japanese influences. It features high ceilings, crisp white walls and minimalist light fixtures that are perfect for showcasing an art collection.
Since winning the Powerball, Castro has bought two California mansions.
The residence’s living room features a fireplace, while its eat-in kitchen is equipped with Thermador appliances. Stunning gardens and mountain views open throughout the estate.
Two of the five bedrooms have been reconfigured to serve as an art studio and soundproof movie theater.

There is a pond, patio and salt water swimming pool as soon as you step outside the U-shaped house. The property can park over a dozen vehicles off-street in a separate two car garage and separate covered carport.

The first home that Castro bought after his big win has five bedrooms, five baths, and two powder rooms. The 13,500-square-foot living space boasts panoramic views from Downtown LA to Century City.
The space also includes a gym, cold plunge pool, wind cellar, movie theater and sauna.
Castro’s most recent purchase was not far from the Altadena gas station where he bought the winning lottery ticket. backgrid
Outdoor amenities include an infinity pool, a spa, two fire pits, and a built-in barbecue area.
Castro came forward three months after purchasing the winning ticket at a gas station in Altadena, and his victory was announced on February 14 by California Lottery officials.
