Everton want Michail Antonio and are making the West Ham United striker their top target for the summer transfer window.
That’s according to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, who reports that Everton will be back in for Antonio at the end of the season.
The Toffees wanted Antonio in January but couldn’t secure a deal for the West Ham hitman.
Sean Dyche isn’t going away though and still wants to bring Antonio to Goodison Park.
The report claims that Farhad Moshiri is willing to fund a move for Antonio should Everton secure their Premier League status.
West Ham are allegedly open to letting Antonio leave if they bring in new strikers of their own this summer.
Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers both wanted Antonio in January too but Everton are now hoping to win the race.

It’s no great secret what Everton desperately need this summer whether they stay up or go down.

Those options won’t really give Dyche major confidence going forward though and he will want a proven Premier League striker.
Antonio fits the bill though some Everton fans may be a little worried about signing a player who may be past his best at nearly 33.
Antonio has bagged 59 goals in 218 Premier League games and may fit the Dyche mould in terms of being very physical and hard-working in attack.
If Everton do bring in Antonio, they would still need another striker to really kick on again, but it’s all about staying up first with Dyche trying to secure survival.
