Report: Tottenham are now considering appointing the 'best coach in the world', not Nagelsmann
A fresh claim suggests that Tottenham Hotspur are considering appointing Arne Slot as their brand-new manager.
While Julian Nagelsmann’s name has been thrown into the hat as the prime candidate to take Antonio Conte’s job as N17, the Feyenoord boss’ name has come into consideration, who Alireza Jahanbakhsh branded as the ‘best coach in the world’ once.
Whether Tottenham Hotspur fans would be happy with the appointment of Arne Slot is a conversation for another day but he is certainly being considered.

Not to say that Arne Slot would not make for a capable appointment as Tottenham manager but when Julian Nagelsmann is available, Daniel Levy is right to reportedly prioritise bringing him in.
Nagelsmann is undoubtedly one of the best coaches in Europe, with the building job he did at RB Leipzig exactly what Spurs are in need of, whilst being one point behind Borussia Dortmund in the league whilst being in the Champions League quarter-final emphasises how unjust his sacking was.
The German is a managerial wonderkid in a sense and to pass up on the opportunity of working alongside him would be unacceptable.
