Google Co-Founder Sergey Brin, Other Billionaires Join Lawsuit Over JPMorgan’s Links With Jeffrey Epstein

US Virgin Islands Attorney General dennis george have summoned alphabet inc (Nasdaq: Google) Google co founder Sergey Brin and three other billionaires are related in a civil lawsuit JP Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) links to Jeffrey Epstein, reports The Wall Street Journal.

George filed a lawsuit alleging JP Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) to facilitate Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking scheme and helping him cover it up. The lawsuit claims that human trafficking was the principal business of Epstein’s accounts at the bank. It is also alleged that JPMorgan received referrals of high-value business opportunities from Epstein.

According to the report, the attorney general asked Brin along Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) Executive Chairman Thomas Pritzker, real estate investor mortimer zuckerman and former the walt disney company (NYSE:DIS) Executive Michael Ovitz For communications and documents relating to Epstein and the bank.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported that JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon would answer questions in the lawsuit.

Lawyers have questioned several JPMorgan employees in the case and one filed by another unnamed woman who accused Epstein of sexual assault. The cases are running concurrently in Manhattan federal court.

Meanwhile, JPMorgan has denied wrongdoing and argued that it did not know about Epstein’s behavior.

Epstein was indicted and imprisoned in July 2019 on federal charges of operating a sex trafficking ring. He was found dead in a jail cell in New York that same year.

In 2020, prosecutors in the Virgin Islands alleged that Epstein had brought 11-year-old girls to the islands, and that he and his associates sexually assaulted them.
