Joy Chavis treated herself to a luxury vacation in Jamaica

Joey Chavis isn’t just seen on the dance floor these days.
The Instagram model, dancer and entrepreneur who is best known for her romantic past with Bow Wow and Future posted steamy pics of her bikini clad body a few days back, captioning the post carousel with the Jamaican flag Gave.
Fans were not only treated to the 34-year-old’s stripped-down figure of the mother of two, but also included several snippets of island life. Chavis’s sultry pictures included time spent rafting pristine rivers, sampling the finest and most exotic fruits, and taking walks amid rural scenery.
Chavis also tried her hand at crafting, getting sun-kissed shots for her 2.3M Instagram followers. And, of course, the Thirst Trap wouldn’t be complete without a Jamaican jelly coconut cradled by Joe.
This isn’t the first time celebrities have discovered the therapeutic Jamaican waters as their ideal vacation spot this year.
Just a few weeks ago, multi-award winning British soul singer Sam Smith vacationed in Portland. Smith and Jamaica’s own Grammy kid then took the internet by storm with their very hot visuals for the single, Gimme feat. Canadian singer and songwriter, Jesse Reyes.
Then, last month, English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa vacationed at the exclusive GoldenEye resort at Orcabessa Bay in St. Mary’s and visited several other locations across the island. Her excursion included a board game night with none other than Unruly Boss and OVO signee, Popakan.
The Grammy-winning singer shared several sunny shots on her Instagram page from her “all calm and stress-free” trip and several excursions including bamboo rafting and sampling local cuisine like Chavis.
“Oh my god, what an experience it was,” the No Lie singer wrote about her Jamaican vacation in an issue of Service95.
Lipa added: “After a very busy start to the year, I was eager to take some time off and was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks at the Golden Eye Hotel in Jamaica this month,” she revealed.
“Walking along its icing-sugar-sand beaches with lush mountains in the distance, reggae playing wherever I went, and tasting those delicious Caribbean flavors — not to mention rum cocktails — I felt truly revitalized.” and ready to take what the rest of the year has to offer.
Among other celebrities who have treated themselves to tropical Jamaican vacations in recent times are Bad Boy CEO and mogul, Diddy and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.
