Former President Donald Trump lashed out on social media Friday at the New York City judge who is expected to preside over his hearing next week in Manhattan Supreme Court.
Trump, writing on his Truth social platform, claimed Justice Juan Marchan “railroaded” former Trump Organization CFO Alan Weiselberg, who is serving time on Rikers Island after pleading guilty to tax fraud charges.
“The judge ‘assigned’ my witch hunt case, a ‘case’ that has never been charged before, hates me. His name is Juan Manuel Marchon, the one chosen by Bragg and prosecutors,” Trump said of Marchon. Misspelled the name.
A spokesperson for the New York State Courts told The Post that the District Attorney’s Office “absolutely” does not choose judges for any given case.

As part of his guilty plea in the tax fraud case, Wesselberg testified against the Trump Organization at trial last year — but reportedly did not cooperate with District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s grand jury investigation.

Trump was indicted on nearly 30 counts by a grand jury in Manhattan on Thursday for allegedly falsifying business records related to payments allegedly made to Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.
