The 45-year-old Texas man is most known for his appearance in season 9, where he initiated his weight loss journey. At the time of his debut, Michael was 609.5 pounds, and had unhealthy eating habits that started at a young age. His grandmother played a major role in kick-starting his food addiction by feeding him too often daily. As a result, Michael was already well over a hundred pounds at seven years old.
