‘Absolutely sensational’ £200,000-a-week striker won’t leave amid Chelsea claims – pundit

Graham Roberts has said on Twitter that he does not think that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur, amid claims that Chelsea want to bring the England international striker to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

Earlier this month, The Independent reported that incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has discussed with his bosses the prospect of signing Kane from Spurs.

Pochettino worked with the 29-year-old £200,000-a-week (The Sun) striker at Spurs.

Manchester United have also been linked with Kane.

Roberts played for both Tottenham and Chelsea, and the pundit believes that Kane will stay at the North London club.

Graham Roberts on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane amid Chelsea interest

Roberts wrote on Twitter: “@HKane all I can say is you are absolutely sensational 30 prem goals incredible with a team that never really gave you much service all season. You are a total spurs legend and deserve every bit of credit you get. You will smash shearers record not just beat it!”

When asked by a Spurs fan if he thinks he will stay at Spurs, Roberts replied: “Yes”.

In our view, Harry Kane could leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, but it is unlikely that he will move to Chelsea.

Tottenham and Chelsea are bitter rivals, and it is hard to see the striker cross the London divide.

Moreover, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will surely not want to sell his most prized asset to better London rivals Chelsea.

The Tottenham fans will not be happy about it at all.
