'He will leave': £70m ace spotted in tears, he's reportedly joining Liverpool in the 'next days'

Brighton and Hove Albion star Alexis Mac Allister has been seen in tears as he prepares to join Liverpool.

The Seagulls played their final game of the season on Sunday afternoon, travelling to take on Aston Villa.

Brighton had already secured Europa League football so the 2-1 defeat at Villa Park is fairly inconsequential.

This was though a potential farewell for midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

The Argentinian has become a wanted man and it looks like this was his final game in a Brighton shirt.

At the final whistle, Mac Allister was seen saying what appeared to be a big goodbye to Seagulls fans.

Mac Allister was in tears and was consoled by Brighton teammates as he prepares to leave the club this summer.

As captured by Sky Sports, Mac Allister couldn’t hold back the tears with an emotional exit on the horizon.

Alexis Mac Allister looks set for Liverpool

Mac Allister likely knows that he is on his way to Anfield very, very soon.

Argentinian reporter Gaston Edul claimed last weekend that Mac Allister is ‘going to be a Liverpool player’.

TyC in Argentina added that Liverpool are paying around £70million for Mac Allister with a deal expected soon.

Liverpool are desperate for new midfielders and Mac Allister has become the top target after the Reds backed away from Jude Bellingham.

Fabrizio Romano has now taken to Twitter to Mac Allister ‘will leave’ Brighton and the move will come very quickly, as soon as the ‘next days’.

Everyone is expecting Liverpool to get this deal done and Mac Allister’s tears are another indication that a move is imminent.

Mac Allister wasn’t able to secure a win to end his Brighton days but Seagulls fans will wave him off with respect having become a star at the Amex Stadium.
