The United States of America delegation are already in Abuja for Nigeria’s presidential inauguration set to take place on Monday, May 29, 2023.
The delegation was led by US Secretary for Housing, Secretary Marcia L. Fudge.
The team touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
This nine-member delegation was approved by US President Biden, and they were welcomed in Nigeria, as stated in a tweet by the official handle of the US Mission in Nigeria, @UsinNigeria on Sunday.
The tweet also mentioned the excitement surrounding the visit and the participation of the delegation in Abuja for the inauguration of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
