Burnley are showing an interest in signing Leeds United defender Cody Drameh after he won promotion with Luton Town.
Leeds United will soon face a decision over Cody Drameh’s future with Burnley now showing an interest.
That is according to The Express, who report that Burnley have joined the race to to sign Drameh.
Drameh spent the second half of the season on loan at Luton Town and helped them secure promotion to the Premier League.
Drameh lined up as a right wing back during Luton’s Championship play-off final win over Coventry City.
Luton understandably want to keep hold of Drameh and are set to open talks over a potential permanent deal.
The Hatters aren’t alone in the race though with Burnley keen after winning promotion themselves.
Drameh, 21, recorded two assists in 19 games for Luton and impressed under Rob Edwards, leaving some wondering why Leeds didn’t give him a chance.

Leeds pounced to sign Drameh from the Fulham ranks in 2020.
The London-born right back decided to try his luck up north but has only ever made eight first-team appearances for the Whites.
A loan spell at Cardiff City didn’t push Drameh any closer, meaning he was sat kicking his heels for the first half of this season.
Luton struck a deal in January, giving Drameh the regular first-team football he was craving.
Leeds have now suffered relegation and would surely see Drameh as being a key part of their promotion hopes.
Drameh now has more than 40 Championship appearances under his belt and would be ready to go for Leeds next season.
The problem now though is that Drameh is wanted in the Premier League with Burnley and Luton keen.
Leeds have had three years to show Drameh that they value him as a first-team player but it just hasn’t happened.
The timing just hasn’t worked out and few could blame Drameh if he wanted to leave Leeds and finally become a regular starter in the Premier League with either Burnley or Luton.
