Skip Bayless' bold NBA Finals prediction trolled by Twitter fans

Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless made a bold NBA Finals prediction on Twitter which was heavily trolled by fans.

The Miami Heat are heading to the NBA Finals after winning a pivotal Game 7 against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The 8th seed Heat were 3-0 up in the series but threatened to make history by allowing the Celtics to become the first team ever to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

After winning three straight games, it all came down to a nail-biting Game 7 which the Heat were able to come through 103-84.

The win sees the Heat return to the Finals for the first time since 2020 where they will take on the Denver Nuggets.

Skip Bayless makes bold NBA Finals prediction

As ever, Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless was tweeting throughout Game 7. One cursory glance down his Twitter feed gives a good indication as to how up and down he was during the game.

The Heat became just the second No. 8 seed ever to make the NBA Finals. The first team to achieve the feat was the 1999 New York Knicks, who went on to face the San Antonio Spurs, who they lost 4-1 to.

Miami will be taking on the No.1 seed Nuggets who are the overwhelming favorites with arguably the best player in the world right now, Nikola Jokic.

However, Skip Bayless has made a bold NBA Finals prediction, tweeting: ‘Heat in 6 in the Finals.’

Fans troll Skip for his prediction

The tweet inevitably sparked thousands of comments, many of which were trolling Bayless for his outlandish prediction.

‘Skip, come on. We both know that ain’t happening’, one person commented.

‘You love being wrong’, another wrote.

‘Stop it,’ a third added.

However, there were some people defending Skip’s prediction. ‘Keep counting us out,’ one Miami fan remarked.

Bayless joked his wife wasn’t speaking to him after Heat-Celtics fit

On Undisputed on Monday, Bayless told Shannon Sharpe that his wife, Ernestine, wasn’t speaking to him following his “overemotional” antics during Game 6.

“I still have not recovered from Saturday night,” Bayless said to Sharpe. “My wife is still not speaking to me because of Saturday night because I threw a fit.”

Bayless said that his wife came into the room to ask what he wanted to eat, to which he shouted the question back at her.

“That game, for me, might’ve been the wackiest, nuttiest, craziest game I have ever tried to figure out what happened in,” Bayless declared. “I couldn’t even sleep on Saturday night.”

“Ernestine and I are now having a fight because I just went a little too crazy,” he wrote on Twitter after the game.
