The first Pokémon movie saw a lot of changes when it was dubbed, cutting out many things while simultaneously creating new scenes that didn't previously exist. The film even saw some visual updates for its American release from the Japanese theatrical version, but by far the biggest change has to deal with the film's climax: Ash's dramatic resurrection.
