Diablo 4 has some amazing features that truly allow players to create their characters their own. Whether you’re following someone else’s build for your Class or you have created your own, you still have the ability to create something unique with your character.
One thing that Diablo 4 allows you to do is to add Aspects to your equipment. These Aspects are modifiers that allow you to turn your Rare items into Legendary items. They add the Legendary qualifiers to these items and can be extremely useful for players who want to become the best that they can be. If you need some tips for Rogues, this guide will help you find out which Aspects to use.

15 Ravenous Aspect
The Ravenous Aspect is a great Aspect for Rogues. Its description reads, “Killing a Vulnerable enemy grants you (XX)% increased Energy Regeneration for 4 seconds.” This is one of the best Aspects for those following a leveling guide for the Rogue.
What makes this specific Aspect so valuable is the fact that it will increase your Energy Restoration. While this may only happen for a short amount of time and the amount depends on your level, this is extremely helpful. Rogues use Energy when they use their Skills. Having this Aspect makes things so much easier. The Codex of Power for this is found in the Shifting City in Dry Steppes or from an item with it.

14 Aspect Of Quickening Fog
This is another great Aspect for Rogues. The Aspect’s description reads “You automatically drop a Smoke Grenade at the end of Dash. Dash’s Cooldown is reduced by [0.25-0.35] seconds for each enemy this way, up to [0.75- 1.05] seconds.” This is a great Aspect for those following the Penetrating Shot build.
What makes this so good is that you’re going to use Dash a lot while trying to avoid enemies. Dashing will cause a Smoke Grenade to appear, allowing you more opportunities to escape. This is a great Aspect to have if you find yourself needing to escape or dodge a lot. The only way to obtain this Aspect is by extracting it from another Legendary Item.

13 Aspect Of The Expectant
This Aspect is great for Rogues following any build. The Aspect’s description reads “Attacking enemies with a Basic Skill increases the damage of your next Core Skill cast by [5-10]% up to 30%.” This can truly help you do some great damage.
What makes this Aspect so amazing is that you will use Basic Skills a ton. Using them will increase the damage done by your next Core Skill, which you will also use a lot. It is a way to add some damage to your build, especially if you don’t have much. You can obtain this Aspect in the Underroot Dungeon in Scosglen or by extracting it from an item that already has it.

12 Edgemaster’s Aspect
Some players have found that this Aspect is great while playing as a Twisting Blades Rogue. The Aspect’s description reads, “Skills deal up to [10- 20%] increased damage based on your available Primary Resource when cast, receiving the maximum benefit while you have full Primary Resource.” This can be super helpful if used properly.
What makes this Aspect great is that, depending on how much Energy you have, you can do more damage with your Skills. The Primary Resource is just whatever your class uses to cast Skills. For Rogues, this is Energy. When your Energy is full, you can reach that maximum benefit. This can be obtained by completing the Oldstones Dungeon in Scosglen. You can also find items with this Aspect.

11 Exploiter’s Aspect
This is another great Aspect for Rogues. If you use any time of Crowd Control, this one is for you. The Aspect’s description is “You have 20% increased Crowd Control Duration. While enemies are Unstoppable, you deal [20-50%]” This makes any build with Crowd Control work well.
What makes this such a great Aspect is the fact that Crowd Controlling is something Rogues often do, depending on the builds. If you have one of these builds, the duration of your Crowd Control will be increased. You won’t have to worry about losing that Crowd Control for a longer time. The only way to obtain this Aspect is by finding an item with it.

10 Trickshot Aspect
The Trickshot Aspect is an amazing Aspect for rogues. The Aspect’s description says, “Whenever Penetrating Shot damages an enemy. 2 additional arrows split off to either side. These side arrows deal [10-25%] of Penetrating Shot’s Base damage and do not split.” This Aspect is perfect for people who want to use the Penetrating Shot Skill. Many people choose a Penetrating Shot to build as their final build in the game.
That makes this Aspect amazing. Anytime you shoot your bow using Penetrating Shot, you’ll have arrows split and hit other enemies. This can allow you to do more damage to enemies you may not have hit otherwise. You can find it by completing the dungeon called Bastion of Faith. You can also get the Aspect by extracting it from a Legendary item that already has it.

9 Aspect Of Corruption
The Aspect of Corruption is another great Aspect of the Rogue. The Aspect’s description is “Your Imbuement Skill effects have [20-40]% increased potency against Vulnerable enemies.” You will deal more damage to any enemy that is labeled as vulnerable.
This is a Status Ailment that will allow you to do more damage. Considering you’ll already do more damage due to the Status Ailment, this Skill will just do a lot more damage. It is perfect if you are fighting a hard enemy or boss. This Aspect is found within the Renegade’s Retreat dungeon, and you can also obtain it by extracting it from Legendary items that have it.

8 Ravager’s Aspect
The Ravager’s Aspect is one of the Mobility Aspects in the game. The Aspect’s description reads, “Shadow Step has an additional Charge. Killing an enemy with Shadow Step refunds a Charge and increases the damage of Shadow Step by [1-6%] for 2 seconds, up to [5-30%].”
This is a great Aspect for anyone who uses the Shadow Step ability. It will give you another charge of Shadow Step and increase the damage of the skill if you kill an enemy. This will allow you to do more damage to the enemies around you. It is great for crowds. Unfortunately, you cannot find a Codex of Power with this Aspect. You must find it on a Legendary item and extract it.

7 Aspect Of Volatile Blades
The Aspect of Volatile Blades is an Aspect that rogues can equip. It is one of the Offensive Aspects. Its description reads, “Twisting Blades cause an explosion when they return to you, dealing X damage and X additional damage based on the distance the blades travel, up to 5 meters and X total damage.”
One of the most popular builds for Rogues includes the Twisting Blades build, and this is the perfect Aspect for that. Twisting Blades allows you to throw blades from a distance. This is an amazing Aspect to pair with this Skill. Not only will Twisting Blades cause an explosion that deals damage, but it also does more damage to enemies depending on how far they travel. It can be found in a dungeon within Scosglen. You can also find an item with the Aspect and extract it from there.

6 Trickster’s Aspect
The Trickster’s Aspect is one of the Offensive Aspects. Its description reads, “Caltrops also throw a cluster of Stun Grenades that explode and deal [X] total Physical damage and Stunning enemies for 0.50 seconds.”
This is a perfect Aspect for those who use the Caltrops Skill for Rogues. The Caltrops will do damage and slow enemies down. This can stun the enemies entirely rather than just slow them down. It will also help you do more damage to enemies. You can find this Aspect when you complete the Guulrahn Canals dungeon. You can also obtain an item with this Aspect that can be extracted.

5 Blast-Trapper’s Aspect
The Blast-Trapper’s Aspect is a great Aspect for Rogues. Its description reads, “Lucky Hit: Dealing direct damage to enemies affected by your Trap Skills has up to a [30-50%]chance to make them Vulnerable for 3 seconds.” If you find yourself using Trap Skills, you may find that this Aspect is perfect for you. Your Trap Skills can make enemies Vulnerable. This means they’ll take more damage than usual.
Some Trap Skills can hit more than one enemy at once. This is perfect if you’re in a large group. You can obtain this Aspect by completing the Kor Valar Ramparts Dungeon in the Fractured Peaks region. You can also find items with this Aspect and extract them from those if you want the Aspect.

4 Aspect Of Unstable Imbuements
The Aspect of Unstable Imbuements is another one of the best Aspects for Rogues in the game. Its description reads, “When casting a lmbuement Skill, you trigger an Imbued explosion around yourself. Applying the Imbuement effects and dealing [X] damage of the same type.”
If you rely on elemental damage and Imbuement Skills, you may want to invest in finding and using this Aspect. Imbuements will allow you to change the damage type of a Skill. They also allow you to add secondary effects to your Skills. If you use a Skill with an Imbuement Skill, you’re going to cause an explosion. This will do extra damage to the enemies around you. Considering you should be using a good amount of Imbuement Skills, this is an amazing addition. You can find this Aspect in the Whispering Vault Dungeon in the Dry Steppes. You can also find items with this Aspect that can be extracted for your use.

3 Aspect Of Surprise
The Aspect of Surprise is one of the best aspects available to Rogues in the game. The Aspect’s description reads, “When you Evade or Shadow Step, you leave behind a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades that deal [X] total Physical damage and Stun enemies for 2 seconds.” If you either use Evade or Shadow Step, this can truly help make your attacks unstoppable.
This Aspect allows you to do damage to enemies while you’re trying to Evade them. The Stun Grenades will not only do damage, but they will also Stun enemies. This will let you either get away from the enemy or do more damage. Unfortunately, you cannot find the Codex for this Aspect. You can actually find items with this Aspect and extract them from them. That will allow you to obtain it.

2 Aspect Of Sleeting Imbuements
The Aspect of Sleeting Imbuements is an amazing Aspect for Rogues. It is especially great for Rogues that use their bows more than anything. The Aspect’s description reads, “Your Rain of Arrows is always affected by all Imbuements Skills at once.” What makes this so amazing is that using Rain of Arrows is going to allow all your Imbuement Skills to happen at once.
These Imbuement Skills can add different damage types such as Cold, Poison, or Shadow. They also can add secondary effects to your Skills. Being able to use all these at once is amazing. This Aspect can be found in a dungeon that is located within the Hawezar region of the map. It can also be obtained by extracting it from an item that already has it imbued within it.

1 Cheat’s Aspect
The best Aspect of Rogues in the game is the Defensive Aspect, Cheat’s Aspect. This Aspect’s description reads, “You take [15.0-25.0%] less damage from Crowd Controlled enemies. Whenever a Crowd Controlled enemy deals direct damage to you, gain 15%[+] Movement Speed for 2 seconds.” This Aspect is a great way to have more defense.
Sometimes, you may find yourself having trouble surviving, especially early on in the game. You’ll take less damage if you are attacked by an enemy that is under Crowd Control of any kind. You can unlock the Aspect by completing Luban’s Rest Dungeon. You can also find items with this and extract the Aspect from them.
