For the unversed, Mildred “Patty” Baena was born on March 1, 1961, in Guatemala. She is currently 62 years old in 2023 and is 14 years junior to Arnold.
In a March 2022 Instagram post, Arnold and Mildred’s son Joseph Baena shared a never-before-seen picture of his mother from her younger days.
The picture sees Mildred kneeling as she holds a party balloon in one hand and a young Joseph in the other. At the back, there’s another child posing with the duo.
In the caption, the 25-year-old son of Arnold writes, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful and important woman in my life! Mom, you inspire, motivate, and push me every day to be successful and chase my dreams. Love you always and forever!”
Arnold’s new Netflix documentary showcases another picture of the Hollywood star’s former housekeeper from the old days.
The said picture is a shot of the newspaper article from The Montreal Gazette. The article’s headline reads “Mother of Schwarzenegger’s love child named.” It shows an old picture of Mildred with a young Joseph.
However, Joseph has posted a few more recent pictures with his mom on his Instagram. The young model and body-builder never hesitates showing love to his mama on his social media.
Arnold Schwarzenegger confessed affair to wife during therapy
In his three-part Netflix documentary, the Terminator star shares how he told his then-wife Maria Shriver about the son he fathered from his extra-marital affair.
The Hollywood star says, “One day, the counselor said, ‘Today Maria wants to be very specific about something. She wants to know if you’re the father of Joseph.”
“I thought my heart stopped,” the actor recalls before revealing, “And then I told the truth.”
“‘Yes, Maria. Joseph is my son’. She was obviously crushed by that,” the actor recalls.
Arnold recalled that he, like many others, thought Joseph was Mildred and her husband Rogelio’s son.
“In the beginning, I really didn’t know, but the older he got, the more it became clear to me,” he says.
The actor’s youngest son Joseph was born days after his ex-wife Maria gave birth to their fourth child Christopher. His confession to Maria came 14 years later and the former couple soon put out a statement saying that they were separating.
