Edens Zero finally unleashes Shiki’s Overdrive form: Watch




Edness Zero Season 2 was in the midst of some of the most intense battles for Rebecca Bluegarden and the rest of the Edens Zero crew yet, but the final episode of Edness Zero The anime took things to a whole new level as the anime finally released Shiki Granbell’s full form from Overdrive! Edness Zero Season 2 pitted the Edens Zero crew against their toughest opponent yet, Drakken Joe, literally defeating them once before. Fans had already witnessed the worst version of the future, so it was an intense confrontation as Shiki and the others were fighting for their lives.

Edness Zero Season 2 gets a major reboot when Rebecca discovers that the true nature of the Cat Leaper Ether gear’s power will help her go back in time, and luckily that means the terrible loss to the Edens Zero crew won’t be permanent. Shiki was doing his best against Drakken Joe in this new version of reality as a result, but managed to push his limits and activate his Ether Gear’s true Overdrive in order to defeat the enemy. Edens Zero Season 2: Shiki’s Overdrive Explained

Edness Zero Episode 35 of Season 2 picks up shortly after Drakken Joe uses his Overdrive to overpower Shiki and finish the fight as quickly as possible. With the fight going on and Shiki running out of options, Drakken forms a gun with his Alchemist powers and shoots Shiki at close range. From here Shiki suddenly has flashes of a past life in which he was killed and the rest of the Edens Zero crew suffers a terrible loss from Drakken Joe.

Upon seeing those deaths and the terrible future, Shiki’s emotions from both timelines converge in a way that enrages him to the point where the Ether Gear switches to Overdrive and unleashes the most powerful version of himself ever seen in the universe. Edness Zero Season 2 so far. But as the new season nears its final episodes this spring, it’s yet to be revealed whether or not that will really be enough to take down this hugely annoying antagonist.
