HEB shooting: A man unintentionally opens fire in a Texas grocery store on Rayford Road in Spring, sheriff’s office says

Spring, Texas (KTRK) – A 28-year-old man has been charged after deputies say he inadvertently pulled the trigger on his gun at HEB in Montgomery County.

Thomas Storm reportedly threw his gun into a Texas grocery store located on the 3500 block of Raiford Road on June 15.
When he went to pick up his gun, investigators said, he accidentally pulled the trigger and fired the firearm.
Deputies at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said two people sustained minor injuries.
One person was injured from debris caused by the bullets, the sheriff’s office said in a news release, while the other was injured while responding to gunfire.
Sturm was charged with lethal conduct, a Class 1 misdemeanor.
Law enforcement did not specify what type of gun was unloaded or if it was concealed before it was dropped.
