I’m Not On The Run – Malami Clears The Air

Former minister of justice and attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN has denied claims of being on the run.

It was said that Malami left the country in a bid to resist arrest and interrogation following the suspension of the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, over his conduct while in office by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, June 14.

It was reported that the former Minister was invited by the EFCC who were interested to find out what led to the alleged loss of over $2.4 billion in revenue from illegal sale of 48 million barrrels of crude oil exportation in 2015.
