Missing man murdered: Murder investigation underway after DeMarcus George found dead with gunshot wound, Dickinson police say

Dickinson, Texas (KTRK) – A murder investigation is underway after police said a man reported missing from Dickinson on Tuesday was found dead with a gunshot wound two days later.

Dickinson Police Department said DeMarcus Trinnell George, 29, went missing on Tuesday, May 30.

Then, two days later, on Thursday, police went to 500 Tanglewood Drive to pursue a missing person investigation around 5 p.m.

Investigators said George’s body was found near Borden Valley, and the family was notified.

A gunshot wound was found on the victim during an autopsy, Dickinson police said Friday, prompting a homicide investigation.
