‘Next few hours’: Big movement in Liverpool’s quest to sign ‘fantastic’ player – journalist

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool want to get a deal done for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister soon.

The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that the father and agent of Alexis Mac Allister will travel to England in the coming hours, as Liverpool aim to agree personal terms with the Brighton and Hove Albion and Argentina international midfielder.

Liverpool want to get a deal done next week, according to Romano.

Romano wrote: “Understand Alexis Mac Allister’s father and agent will travel to England in the next few hours — as Liverpool want to complete final details on personal terms agreement. #LFC

“The expectation is to get the deal done next week, his father will be in England to work on that.”

Liverpool fans should be optimistic about Alexis Mac Allister signing

In our view, Liverpool fans should be confident about club owners FSG getting a deal done for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

That the agent and father of the midfielder is travelling to England for talks with Liverpool suggests that the Reds are progressing in their pursuit of the Argentine star.

The 24-year-old – described as “a fantastic player” by his Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi – is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and won the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

We believe that Mac Allister would be able to make an instant impact at Liverpool and would fit into the way that manager Jurgen Klopp plays his football.
