Report: Newcastle now confident of signing Arsenal player Unai Emery called ‘very talented’

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are reportedly confident of signing Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney ahead of Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

The Times have reported that Newcastle United and Aston Villa are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Arsenal want more than £30 million for the left-back they signed from Celtic for £25 million in the summer of 2019.

Unai Emery, now in charge of Aston Villa, was the Arsenal manager at the time.

And the former Paris Saint-Germain boss described Tierney as “a very talented player who will continue to improve” on Arsenal’s official website in August 2019.

It suggests that the Magpies are in a really good position to bring Tierney to St. James’ Park.

And we believe that the left-back will make Newcastle better.

Yes, the left-back has not played regularly for Arsenal this season, but he is a very good player who has extensive experience of playing in the UEFA Champions League.

Newcastle will play in Europe’s premier club competition next season and will also aim to challenge for the Premier League title in the coming years.
