While many consider it the point where the franchise began to falter, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines pushed Arnold Schwarzenegger's indestructible robot further than ever before – specifically thanks to the ultra-advanced T-X model Terminator who was tasked with killing John Connor, slaughtering his future lieutenants, and ensuring the rise of Skynet. Ultimately, the T-X fails to kill Connor and his partner Kate Brewster, and is destroyed by Schwarzenegger's T-850, who utters the iconic line, "You are terminated." However, movie fans didn't see the real final result of their clash.
