Taika Waititi has explained why his Star Wars script still isn't finished – even though he's been writing it for three years. Waititi’s Star Wars project was first announced on Star Wars Day in 2020, but so far, there have been very few updates about its development. Since the announcement, Waititi has been busy with plenty of other projects, including Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, the hit series Reservation Dogs, and the upcoming Next Goal Wins, but he maintains that his Star Wars movie is still moving forward, despite the delay.
