Steve Nicol, a Liverpool star, has revealed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta may be regretting the club’s new summer addition, Kai Havertz.
Nicol stated that Havertz, who recently joined Arsenal from Chelsea, will not score 18 goals for Arteta’s team next season.
“He is not getting 18 goals. I would love to see how he gets all these assists and goals because I am not sure he starts,” Nicol told ESPN.
“There is no way [Gabriel] Jesus doesn’t start, right?! The front three is set. If [Kai] Havertz, in his first game, if he does start in the middle, has a shocker, then you might never see him again.
“Arteta might go ‘you know what, I have made a big mistake. This is not going to work’”.
