He arrived with huge fanfare back in Walking Dead season 6, and by the time season 7 had aired its shocking premiere episode, it was clear Morgan’s Negan was the biggest bad ever encountered in the TWD universe. But though he was guilty of gleefully dispatching fan-favorite characters Glenn and Abraham, Negan did not receive the violent ending he may have deserved, instead becoming a redeemable character with decided anti-heroic tendencies.
