Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could now make a bid for David Raya, a player Tottenham Hotspur decided against signing in the summer transfer window.
According to CM, Arsenal could make a bid of €30 million (£26 million) for Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
The report has noted that Arsenal goalkeeping coach Iñaki Caña personally wants to bring Raya to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are now ready to make a bid for the Spain international.

The Athletic has also reported interest from Arsenal in Raya, who was linked with the Gunners’ bitter North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer.
The report in The Athletic has claimed that Brentford want £40 million for the 27-year-old.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Arsenal are in contact with Raya’s camp over personal terms.
The Times reported on June 17 that Tottenham and Manchester United want(ed) to sign Raya from Premier League rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window.
Metro reported on June 22 that Tottenham had agreed personal terms with Raya.
However, Brentford did not reduce their asking price of £40 million for the goalkeeper.
Spurs decided to abandon their pursuit of Raya and signed goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli instead.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal’s reported bid of £26 million will be accepted by Brentford.
If the Bees do not change their stance, then the Gunners would have to pay the £40 million needed.
Should Arsenal pay that much transfer fee for a goalkeeper who is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup?
