Scorsese vs. Spielberg: 46-Year Rivalry Will Get A New Twist At The Oscars 2024

For 46 years, filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg have been neck and neck when it comes to their successes, with Spielberg often coming out just the slightest bit ahead, however, the next Oscars could completely turn the tide. Both Scorsese and Spielberg began their careers as directors during the early 1970s, and in the intervening years, have released some of the most iconic films of the 21st century. Scorsese is the mastermind behind Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Casino, Shutter Island, and The Wolf of Wall Street, while Spielberg has been at the helm of greats like E.T., Jaws, the Indiana Jones franchise, Jurassic Park, and Schindler's List.
